Magical Chemicals Upstream Oil and Gas Water Disposal Project

Magical Chemicals, in conjunction with Scientific Sanitation Solutions, have developed a chemical additive called SCIFLOC1 which can be purify produced water with high levels of contaminants in-order be able to reuse the water for agricultural use and other uses. Magical Chemical’s SCIFLOC1 additive can also decontaminate produced water to Federal NPDES specifications for storm drain disposal.

Magical chemicals will do a facility walkthrough and obtain sampling to apply for a NPDES permit for agricultural and storm drain discharge. Magical chemicals, will design the equipment and obtain the permits for construction to process the wastewater with SCIFLOC1. SCIFLOC1 can be directly added to a wash tank, or an agitator can be installed to introduce the additive to the wastewater. Once the water is processed, the water can be discharged to the storm drain with sampling and reporting. Magical Chemicals provides a full service from permit applications to discharge reporting or any part of the water disposal process.

Magical Chemicals is currently working with multiple oil and gas companies and the California State Water Resources Control Board to obtain permits to discharge wastewater directly into the storm drain.
